I am eyeing these two watches. They are world of difference in terms of price and exclusivity. But, is Saxonia Thin 37mm really worth 10 times more than the Ludwig?
Of course Saxonia Thin 37mm is in precious metal and with nicer finishing.
I would like to hear your opinion please.

I have recently been looking at the ALS Saxonia thin as well. Might be the age catching up. In any event, I bought myself a Nomos Orion about two years ago, hoping to scratch that similar itch. Well...it didn't work. They really are different watches. While the Ludwig is a nice watch and Nomos really does make watches that punch above their weight, it will not scratch your itch.

I would buy online but make sure the seller is a trusted seller.

Buy online or oversea. If not mistaken, the brand has AD in HK.

The brand does have an AD in HK, but the collection isn't complete. I bought mine from Germany while I was there for work.

Try out the Nomos first if that doesnt cure your itchiness, then go for the ALS... :Laughing_on_floor:

I haven't heard anything but good things about both brands. Had the privilege to own a Saxonia 37mm three hands. All I can say is that everytime I took out my Saxonia, I'd smile cause the darn thing is so beautiful. It was also the watch that I got most compliments for. It was really impossible to take a bad pic of it. From any angle it just looked great. Even in different lighting it was fantastic.
Try a Lange. I went to the boutique in Singapore and tried on the Lange 1 Platinum 38.5mm. It is by far the best watch I have placed on my wrist so far. That is, until I get to try a Datograph ;D
