Jom fishing!
« on: August 29, 2012, 02:59:30 PM »
Greetings! After so long Ive been posting sales of watch solely on merchant section I think im obligated to contribute a few humble threads on other section as a MWF member. I just joined my dads business merely month ago and apart from all those watches I spent most of my time fishing at both pond and deep sea.

So I was wondering is there any hardcore anglers here and maybe my group can join any sifu here to learn a few stuff. Usually when Im off on Sunday I would rent a boat around RM300 for 8 people for sea fishing mostly take off from klang (around pulau ketam) and taiping for deepsea 80m- 150m. During weekdays I would go to pay ponds at laguna(kelana jaya), taman desa and mostly semenyih.

Deepsea fishes -

Grouper
Red snapper
toledo( can go up to 15kg)

Pond fishes

Patin (can go up to 10kg)
Bak so kung
wan yu
pacu
toman
etc

(my Kaki)
Largest Pacu Ive ever seen. Took 10 good minutes to reel this monster in.

Caught this few days ago at kelana.

So the point is there any hardcore anglers here? Maybe we can team up and go pancing together or maybe share with us your adventures here.

Hard core signinig in. Recreational, mainly casting and practice catch n release most times. Difficult to find kakis for weekday fishing as my off days may not be regular weekends. Looking for a strong young man as tandem kayak mate.
Shuda drop by your shop as I'm in Subang Jaya too. 'fraid i'll freak out and blow some moolah on goodies in your shop. Overblown annual budget this year.
 Tight lines.

Whoah a fishing thread! You guys still fishing?

I tend to do alot of artificial bait fishing. Lures, plastics, etc
We should do a gtg one day. I'm not a fan of paid ponds as I prefer "wild ponds" not one that is stocked. Although have fished stocked ponds from Jurassic, Exotic, Semenyih and the famous Bungsamran in Bangkok. Also fish in wild ponds in Batang Berjuntai and Air Kuning Perak for Peacock Bass.

Here's some pics.

So.......When we going????? haha
