/lim/, yeah, first time into Mac... i have 4 laptops/desktops at home and non of them are mine :D so though of getting one for myself and since wanted a new laptop might as well venture into Mac this time ;D Will take the lowest end laptop (and upgrade to 4GB, then install Win7 using the Parallel software)...

Chiew, set ya, so who joining? 1130am Sunday (7/2) wait at Pavilion entrance? Dennis, Chiew, Takashi, David?, Danny?

Chris, IWC Portuguese is real classic (to me), with that price (after discount or even at Retail) for an in-house movement and 7 days long PR, i guess no other brand (same level) can offer... IWC has not increase their price for at least 2 years now, the retail price is still the same when i bought mine 2 years ago except now discount is not as good but still worth in my opinion... So, if anyone ask me IWC Port or not, i will say get one ;D Just me la   If you have extra budget and ur wrist can pull through, IWC BP all the way (except you can't see the movement)

My advice, dun buy a Mac and use (or for the aesthetic reason and be different) it as a Windows PC. It is wasting ur $ and frustrates u :)

White dial with gold marker is just yummy !

I tried that but it's hard to read... then again, it's classcy la... and i don't mind taking my time reading that la...that's a beauty ;D

Dennis,
I doubt the boutique can give the same discount as I PMed you earlier but can talk to that guy (while nego, PLEASE don't mentioned the discount u can get and from where...just keep it to yourself) ;) He gave me the BP discounted price and not bad too... so, i guess wouldn't be that far off.... Other AD wouldn't do 0% installment plan...

As for the tool kits a...some other time can a...or if we buy then can help ship to your hometown la... coz ho..that day from Pavilion going to Petaling Street can be berry jam one le... hahahhaha... unless we all take Mono-rail/LRT/MRT la... kakaka

I wnt disclose others AD discount to them or any other dealers… it will be great If u can help to buy and ship to me but just wonder would you feel troublesome.. Btw is it difficult for Port to change strap ;D
Title: Re: GTG on this Sunday, 7th Feb 2010
Post by: Scott C. on February 05, 2010, 02:58:08 PM
I think better you come here buy and take it with you... the watch is not cheap le and when ship to SG, the amount declare on the Shipping might cause to you pay the extra GST ;)

I never try changing strap on this Port but on a Pilot chrono before.... not that easy until the leather seasons a bit...but if you buy strap from the boutique u can always ask them to change for you ;) I'm thinking to get a brown strap for mine too ;)

wah i wish ler... the ring was only round CAD 300 with a high sales tax of 12-15% in Canada.

So that would make it round SGD 400-500? if the AT comes with that ring at that price... i would go up sword mountain, go down fire sea, jsut to get it lor.

yeah ..looking for an alternative to my wedding band which is white gold.

tired of taking it to be polished and plated every single year due to it oxidising and turning yellow and scratching due to the chemicals of house chores and scratches in the gym.

the jeweller recommends not plating and polishing it too much...would reduce the carat weight in time.

maybe a 316L S/S would stand better to the abuse.

i take off my ring when i go to gym or doing anything will 'harm' my ring.
 ;D

my wife wear her wedding band depend on her outfit.   :Laughing_on_floor:

i will recommend you get 'traditional' wedding band.

if you like this S/S Omega ring, get it as your fashion ring.

yeah i am wearing a "traditional" band.

i hate to take it out cause i am scared to lose it or maybe i am just lazy.

also i am not much of an accessories person to wear too much stuff

a ring and a watch is good enough for me.

no photoshop-ing at all its the film I guess because this roll of film is expired one and coupled with a very wide aperture that created these effects
