Rolex Daytona is one of those pieces even when the hype dies down it will still be very strong in value retention.

Its just one of those cool pieces where you can't go wrong if you paid list or below list.

I got my Daytona C on today. I think Rolex did a damn good job.

I never like white dials. All the watches I got are black dials only nautilus is blue dial.

I am aware that the white dial is more desirable and better in terms of price performance for this particular piece and also most people out there like the look of the white dial over black. Some prefer white because the color scheme is more closer to the original PN colour.

When I placed my order during the release date I told them I wanted black dial.

Ya that's right "on" today :)

Switched from 5711 to this. hard to say which one is better.

No way I would pay premium.

got it for 14,272 AUD which is the list price after GST claim. Order made on 2016 basel release date when rolex announced it+ deposit transferred same date. and picked it up on 2/8/2016.

No way I would do that. it is back in the safe :)

I had to get the Daytona out because I was wearing the Nautilus for over a week.

The numbers of 116500LN increased from 88 to 136 today at Chrono24. Prices are dropping like an anvil. Already selling at RM60k. Be a little more patient to push it further down.

Update: Apologies. Those Rolex are fakes! They took the 116520LN and changed the Bezel. Wth!
