Not difficult but on hindsight having less is better

Nice collection, not kecik at all. Most of them can be worn casually too IMO.

Is that cushion case Zenith a ladies watch?

Quite fascinated with the single-hand watch. Is it easy to refer to the time?

Yes it is actually. Every marker is a 5 minute interval. So time will always be in 5 minute increments.. 9.05, 910, etc. Not very good if you need accuracy

My humble collection, minus a couple sentimental pieces that were given to me by the missus. Anyway these are what I regularly wear now.

Thanks bro. The Speedy Pro is the quintessential chronograph despite constant milking of Omega's links with NASA :)

If you do get one make sure it's the Professional, the closet one to the original Moonwatch.

Isn't the speedy pro a manual winding watch? I see you have it on a winder?

Yes it is manual wind. I don't use the winder function so no difference whether I place it on top or bottom. If I were to own a perp calendar that may change  :D

After a few years of rotating my watches, I was able to start classifying my collection into 3 categories, Primary (the watches I love to wear), Secondary (watches I'll wear once in a while) and Others (watches that don't appeal to me anymore)

Here is the first box under the Primary grouping.

My Ingy is the 3228 which I have read was limited to around 800 units, first launched in 2008. It was a 40mm 'test model' for the 80111 in-house movement, whereas the volume model 3227 came in a 42mm case. Bought mine from a fellow forum member.

Design wise considering that the Ingy competes in the realm of AP RO and Nautilus (all Genta classics) I find it to be a value buy. Bracelet is very comfortable, I also ordered an aftermarket leather strap from Jacob Straps for variety. Only downside is the thickness though it doesn't bother me much as the watch wears quite comfortably.

Compared with the current 40mm Ingy (thinner case with crown guards, movement is Sellita based), I definitely prefer the 3228. But this may change as I have a chance to get the blue dial Laureaus Ingy in the next couple months. If this happens, sadly one will have to go.

oh.. its 3228, its the angle of your photo, i thought its vintage version.
i handle few 3228, mwf store also sold 1. the price is so affordable for this model now.
many of our members hv it.
40mm white dial gold index, its dressy, just not so thin.... but i like it alot.

i had the 42mm 3227, black dial, bit more sporty and muscular, still on of my favourite.
very well modernization of the old ingenieur that designed by G.Genta

my taste - among all G. Genta deigned steel watches that era
RO is the best
Ingenieur second
follow by Nautilus and oversea

lets the 3228 and my 3227 catch up for tea 1 day

Yeah seen a few members post their 3228 here. Have not seen the 3227 in person but I guess the 42mm case strikes a better balance with the thickness.

I'm based in Beijing so welcome to have a sip of coffee/tea overlooking Tiananmen or even the Great Wall  ;)
