Hari Raya holidays about to be over............

wat did you all do???

I didn't do much.......took my wife & kids out jalan jalan at parks....shopping malls.....
makan every where....thats about it
family time all the way.......cinema was not having any good shows.....
surprisingly alot of ppl in KL/PJ......was at Ikea/Curve on Wed.....place was packed and jam....

KK is abit quiet. Everyone balik kampung.
Town is packed with ppl but no cars around.
Why? Coz all PTIs come out to jalan2...
But no worries coz it's still safe. Everyone juz enjoying d holidays.
For me, 1st day of raya, visiting my fellow muslim friend... Eat until my stomach bloated.
Already fat and now become fatter... Lol
2nd day, bring wife n kids to a local resort for some fun.
3rd day, stay at home jam guitar take some photos n write some reviews.
I thinks i gained at least 3-4kg feasting on all the rendang and ketupat...

the culture has changed alot nowadays....
its not like d time where we were once more muhibah.....
frens invited for open houses and so on.....
now hardly see any open house.....economy might be d issue as well

Well, for me its :

29/8 - Work (Back to office)
30/8 - Was at KLCC Exhibition Center for a Books Exhibition with the family (whole day)
31/8 - Morning HR Open house at Kelana Jaya, afternoon MWF GTG at Summit, evening took the family to Desa Park City jalan2 + dinner, visit relattives house at Bdr Sri Damansara
1/9 - Paint the gate & fence (for CNY'12), (still one side of gate not finished, will continue on Sat or Sun)
2/9 - Work (note: am typing "post reply" at this moment  )

hehehehehe my gate no need to paint....stainless steel...but not the ahbeng time...
mine is those brushed matte stainless steel...no need to paint...no need to maintain....

Last time no stainless stell gate; if got oso cost a bomb.
No choice lor, every 3-4 years paint the gate & fences.

Just got one more HR Open House tomorrow morning. Maybe 2nd half of the day take the kids go see smurf the movie & jalan2.

actually my house is about 40years old d.....but i'm not d first owner ler
the ori gate was there until 3 years back when I decided to reno the house....so took the chance to change it

well yes, for some their festive holidays have ended a couple of days ago..and for some, this weekend. Many would have made their return to city exodus much earlier, and some perhaps over the weekend.
For folks who will start their work this coming Monday, it will be back to the traffic jam condition and restart the rat race once more.

As for me, I am looking forward to restart my plant's operations once more and seeing my colleagues and friends.
Its great to have a break once in awhile and then come back to work all refreshed.

Celebrated hari raya at hilton, my bro and I totally took over the executive floor 

invited friends and families for high tea and cocktails... the staffs were like  but we didn't care cos the free cheesecakes were oh-so-delicious

with saying that, went to the family patriarch's for first day - open house where about 5,000 people turned up. It was NUTS.

On the 4th day, we took up a coupla of chalets at a family friend's beach resort, and oh yeah it was awesome.


managed to see some of awesome watches over the festive seasons as well.

Greet-and-meet is a horrible way to catch up anyway - can hardly have decent chats with guests.
