Those are some very nice vintage timepieces. We don't see these very often in Malaysia.
Thanks for sharing.
Are you involved in the auction trade or were you bidding for your own collection?

I did not know the auction house will allow prospective buyer to play around with the watch. Isnt it they worry they will screw whole thing up?

Are those ceramic bezels on those COMEX subs? They look really new to me.

@G.Mac
These are 168000 Comex Subs. They got them service regularly by Rolex so it's not uncommon to see them in good condition. Some even have dial replacement.

This is what haunt my dream

Apparently they are not that rare. LOL

I see. That explains it all. Saw one COMEX sub without the COMEX printed on dial but it was stamped on the caseback yesterday. Kinda like the M.N on the some of the 7016 Snowflakes.

I would pick 6200 as the mother of all sport Rolex.

Being possibly the 1st Sub release by Rolex and in term of rarity the ratio is 4 Milsub to 1 6200.

If we dig we can find some Milsub laying around but the same can't be said about the 6200. Been collecting for 8 years and only so far seen two 6200 but a dozen Milsub.

It would be my grail but I also need my house to stay so I'm not sure I can pull the trigger if I see one.  ::)

No & no.  :angel:  I'am just making reports on very rare timepieces.

The auctions are the best moments to take pictures of very rares watches, before they go back to the safe.
