I'm really curious how you would wear and where you would keep 8,000 watches....

If You look for RM8K watch, don't go for battery, try look for Automatic, if buy new watch future will lose money, maybe can try look for 2nd hand full set watch, why you didn't suggest Rado Captain Cook Automatic ? Green colour are very nice with Sunburst !

Below 8k ?you can look for Titoni seascopper 600 , the strong point is it has COSC movement which others brand with same price range don’t have. New release 2020 I think , and price is much worth it .
If have more budget , i will go for Tudor Blackbay

I used to get 10-20% from Oris & Longines AD. You can also find a good selection of watch designs from Frederique Constant at this price range, if you don't mind their watches "looking alike" to other more expensive brand

I would personally skip the 8K watches, save and eat maggi mee for as long as necessary, and then jump into the 15K and above range.  You'll get much better watches. Also consider 2nd hand.

probably bumping it up to about 10-15k will have a better wider choice.

+1 for Oris.
One of the few independent Swiss watch brands left out there. But at that price range it will most likely be using an outsourced movement instead of in-house. Do check out the Oris Diver Sixty-Five range.

Would go for Tudor or an Omega Speedmaster any day of the week in that price range, or both if you bump the budget a bit.
