How does one invest in bond?
I know for stocks we can open an account at the bank easily, but I'm really not familiar with bonds...

At the moment, the lot size for bond market is still on the high side (RM5mil per lot) so it is more of a institutional market.
However plans are on to make it more accessible to retailer. Currently, an individual can invest via the retail bond market (there are 3 bonds available in Bursa Malaysia) or via Unit Trust Bond Funds.

Is this the retail bond that you are referring to?

If that's the case it seems like the process is similar to purchasing shares
"You will need to visit your nearest participating organization (stock broking firm registered in Malaysia) to open a securities trading account and Bursa Central Depository System (CDS) account."
