Looks great on leather too! Has that 'Goodwood gentleman racer' feel

Really love this piece and want to make it a part of my collection when finances allow. It just nails the vintage vibe like no other! Even some of the Heur re-editions of late seem to not get it as right as this one. Favourite aspect of this watch, the size! Just perfect!

Great choice Uncle Ray! Wear it in great health!!

Thank you sir! I do like this piece and it's a keeper for sure. Imo its greatest strength would be the thickness at 12.5mm, which is really rare nowadays for non high-end chronographs.

BUT, your posts have seriously got me looking at more recent Heuer reissues (even though they're a bit thick for 39mm) and I'm contemplating getting one for 2022. Perhaps a Montreal or 160y anniversary edition. The poison is stronnnngg!

Really love the look as well but I just wish it was a tad larger than 37mm... so it most likely would end up in the wife's collection instead.

This one could have worked, should have worked but  in the end just didn't work for me. 42mm watch on a vintage pillow shaped case makes it wear too large and just goes against its vintage aspirations in my opinion. Should have been 39mm or smaller. What a pity.

Hi Gentlemen101,

Most of the time it’s an Explorer 39mm on nato or a Batgirl as a daily beater so I welcome the change

That's a really nice vintage piece especially with the strap. What's the reference number for the model if you don't mind me asking?
