And enjoy the watch in good health bro!!

nice Zenith…. rarely see this model…
is it a 44/45mm? looks big on your wrist…
bought new from local AD?
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

@TheHobbit
Thanks!

@hanz079
I prefer this color than the blue. A lot of reviews in the net prefers the blue, but somehow the blue 'cheapens' the watch. The gold and silver is very elegant. :) Initially, I dont plan on Zenith but after reading more and more and also with the price, I knew this is the watch!

You've got PM...

@JOS2012
Bad photography and angle caused the watch look huge on my wrist. Bought locally.

Anyone has good recommendation on where to get deployment buckle?

The only gripe in my Zenith is it doesnt come with a deployment buckle... ishh!

The Zenith buckle cost a high 3 figure amount, thus I am looking for alternatives.

3 figure amount if you're lucky.
I got mine for around 1200 last year.
Then I sold it after I sold my watch and got another Zenith that came with a deployant.
I know have 2 extra Zenith Deployants just in case I need one in the near future... lol
I will PM you the details.

I received your PM. I do share your sentiments on the 'alternative' deployment buckle.

Thanks  :Cheers:

Nice watch. A few months back i went to a pre-owned shop and the owner told me that Rolex used Zenith engine for their watches. Is that true?

the watch is at service center due to power reserve problem. It was quoted as auto wheel problem and had to send back to Zenith Switzerland for service/repair... sob sob...

I am very surprise that this happened cos I hardly wear that watch unless on weekends... its only ~6 months old. Its on the winder most of the time...

cant wait to get it back... had to watch for >1 month...

wow man... sending back to Swiss of service is hell a long way...
Any idea how long it takes to service or repair it....
Aren't there any zenith service center in Malaysia or our neighboring countries?

I can feel your pain of parting with your beloved watch there.

Hope you will get it back not too long from now... cheers   :thumbsup:

thanks for the kind comments...

I brought it to LVMH service center in KL. They service TAG and zeniths there...

The ppl there arent bad, actually quite friendly and patient but of course I wouldnt expect anything less. :) Would be better if there would be tech to explain what happened or which part is damage in some detail.

I was quoted about 2 months to get it back. Actually, I guessed it is better to have it send back to swiss to service... :)

I'm thinking there is no qualified technicians in Malaysia to handle this caliber yet.
A problem with many Malaysian service centers.

Collectors do preferred Zenith powered El primero movement daytona than modern daytona.  :Dancing_banana: Rollie however has to 'tone down' highly accurate El primero from 36000 to 28000 due to the service concern though.

Anyway, a beautiful watch and wear it in good health.  :Cheers:
