Hi There!
« on: July 04, 2012, 10:18:35 PM »
Greetings fellow watch collectors!

I am rather new to watch collecting and have been following this forum for about 6 months now. Amazed by the spirit of sharing and the help that you guys have

My watch collection is rather humble with several automatic and quartz watches, e.g. seiko, citizen, omega, zenith, perrelet and corum. Must admit to being really "obsessed" with watches now!!  ;D  But my wallet is dying   :( :Praying:

Well that's about it for the intro. Look forward to being a part of the fellowship and interacting with all of you!!

Des

Here they are ....

Missing my Omega Constellation and Oris Moonphase which have gone for servicing. I admit that I do have a thing for moonphases :)

BTW, any tips on taking photos of watches (mine might be a bit too big)?

Thanks

Thanks a lot guys!

I love the Zenith too. It is classic and the guilloche work is just beautiful.

As for the TX, it's full name is a TX 530 Series World Time Airport Lounge. I bought it on the recommendation of Ariel Adams of ablogtoread fame - here is his article on the watch http://www.ablogtoread.com/tx-530-world-time-airport-lounge-watch-review/ (links are allowed on this Forum, right?). If I am not mistaken, TX is a brand of Timex.

FYI, it was pretty affordable, though I had to hunt high and low for it on the web (it took longer because I was new to watch collecting), but I ultimately nailed it on ebay. :)
