Bought an Orient Small Seconds champagne dial. Very classic looking although a tad larger than I preferred. A little smaller would give it a more vintage feel. Great value for money but not sure if I want to keep it... Hate the idea of not wearing my other pieces

To be honest, during the MCO. I bought only the Maggie mee..
Jokes a sides, in the used watch business, many ppl are selling their precious Units to tide over these uncertain periods.

Yea times are tough. Cash is king now. But alot of good deals for 2nd watch market now

Not yet, still early. Give another month or 2. Once companies are able to better assess their operations, more job cuts will happen

Congrats on the Tudor. Sorry to hear that you were lowballed. You are right to choose to keep the watch. It is a case of willing seller and willing buyer. Have had my share of lowballers as well. I learnt to check my prices to at least be lower than what the grey market dealers are asking for the same model. On another note, my purchases during the MCO are mainly Seikos and G-Shocks.

Cash is indeed king. Looking at the situation, those whose jobs got cut are not likely buyers of the Rolex SS Sports models as well. I noticed grey market dealers where I am at do not suffer from lack of buyers. Mainly their problem is lack of stock now that Rolex temporarily halt production. Prices for SS Pateks are starting to stabilize though.

Bro here is right. the economic downturn does not affect the majoirty of buyers of sports Rolex.
As for the local grey dealers here (basically only 3 stores) having insufficient stock to sell, it boils down to difficulty to travel to get new stock now so that kinda keeps prices up. Once travel is permitted, buyers can venture over to KL to get a wider range of choice.
Looking at FB groups of watch sellers, prices do seem to get softening.

Just picked up a Breitling. It's a beauty
The sapphire crystal is extremely well done, the AR is almost flawless. You'll either love or hate the slanted links on the bracelet
The only complain I have is the clasp, which feels quite cheap for a watch at that price point
