Dear all,
I am a newbie here. Recently this watch was passed down to me by my grandpa. Posting up some pics here for your opinion.
A Brief history on Concord watches:
Early in the 1900's in Bienne, Switzerland, two young watchmakers sought to create timepieces of exceptional beauty and craftsmanship and movements that would permit a freedom of case design. By 1915, Their genius with precious metals and gems produced the first "private label" luxury watches. Over the years, Concord Watches, once prized as the official gift of U.S. Presidents to Heads-of-State, have become the timepiece to mark life's momentous occasions.
In 1945 U.S President Harry S. Truman presents Concord clocks to Churchill and Stalin on the occasion of Postdam peace conference.

* only comes with the original gift box , papers and warranty long gone

frankly, concord is not a brand that worth money...
they only recently get the some big clap on their c1....
and not many quartz watch got good value as well.... only a very little... like bulova 1st quartz watch, omega discon flightmaster......
but at least this is a gold watch.... so the gold case n bracelet worth something....
so i think the value come from this much more than the brand, design, movement, level of finishing......

Melt it and get some cash for the gold.
Thats the only thing that can do for this watch if you want to get anything out of it.

If I inherited a watch from my Grandad, i'll treasure it for life! Such items are priceless due to its sentimental value. No money can buy. I wouldn't sell or trade it for anything, not to say even think of it.

18K doesnt value much either...but getting this from your grandpa..damn i wish at least my grandpa could give me a Q&Q...what a priceless treasure...

keep the watch..the sentimental value is worth more than the whole watch shop itself! ;)
