This particular 1675 is from 1970 and has the Mark 1.5 dial.

Looks like a Mk V dial. Mk 1 and 1.5 (variant) has a long E.

Hmmm ... you might be right, thanks for calling that out. Will need to pull out the watch and take a closer look.

Anyway it's not uncommon to see later dials on earlier cases - the last overhaul on this watch was done in the late 90s by RSC Japan so I guess they must have replaced the ori dial with a Mk.5 which was probably still in inventory at that time.
