Final two
« on: April 10, 2012, 01:20:41 PM »
My final two watches are in and as Elliot Ness said to Capone in Untouchables, "Here endeth the lesson". I consider my collection 'complete' and don't see any new additions but perhaps more subtractions. Anyway the two....

The LACO WUS LE watch. Thanks to Chris.

The Tudor reference 7016/0, all correct and all original (as confirmed by TSC).

Well I think they are about the same, with the only difference being the movement and oh the case material. The Tudor has a Tudor modified ETA movement. This watch has the case made by Rolex and the crown and crystal is interchangeable with the the Rolex 5513 and 1680. Even the bezel and bezel insert are interchangeable with the 5512, 5513 and 1680.

As for seeing the watch, perhaps some of the prelove watch shops? The watch is 41 years old. And the strap is not ori. The original bracelet is the Rolex bracelet (not Tudor) reference 7836.

The b&r? Still there in the collection. That one also not going anywhere at the moment. No more unless it is a M.N. Tudor or a reference 5513 (in good condition), but even then it will be one in and one out, if not more.
