Can't really follow what it has to do with the watch in MIB.
Seems like they're just exampling the Ventura was used in the movie for references.

Quote from: Swatch files lawsuit over ‘Men in Black’ watch
This most recent release, Men in Black III, is what spurred the lawsuit, with Swatch Group claiming in court papers that Lawrence Magen, president of Stührling’s North American operations, appeared on ShopNBC during a segment on the Stührling Ricochet and the segment’s host said, “If memory serves, there is another motion picture release now where this is once again being touted.”

It's not clear from the article. What I conclude from the above is the president of Stührling claimed on television that Stührling watches were used in MIB. Hence, the lawsuit.

it's pretty clear from the article :P

1. MIB features the Hamilton ventura watches.
2. the president of Stührling appeared on a TV show - ShopNBC, which is a home shopping network, in which the host mentioned that a movie is using a similar watch.
3. but of cos the public, at first glance, while watching the MIB movie will not know its a Hamilton, and those who were watching ShopNBC will assume it's a Stührling in the movie.
4. so in order for the public / fans of MIB to not be confused, and thereby possibly purchasing Stührling watches instead of Hamilton...Swatch decides to sue them so they will be forced to cease production of the watch.
