Title: Question about Rolex Submariner 16610
Post by: chongyh84 on July 26, 2017, 09:02:31 AM
Hi, I am new to the forum and a newbie at watches.

I have a question about a Submariner 16610 that I saw recently. I noticed that Rolex stainless steel Oyster bracelets are usually brushed on the top and bottom surface but polished on the sides.

However, I recently saw a Submariner 16610 with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet that has brushed surface on all surfaces, including the sides. Does this mean this is a fake? I'm sorry, but I do not have a photo of the watch. For you info, I believe this watch was produce before 2002 because there is no laser cut crown logo at the 6 o'clock area on the glass.

Thanks in advance.

16610 should be having all brushed case and bracelet even the sides and edges ,

116610LN would be having polished sides and edges and yes earlier Rolex Sports Models have no laser cut crown logo at 6 o'clock position

Cheers
