Just went to my favorite ikan bakar stall
the choy sum here really must try, no other restaurant serve such a crunchy small choy sum... Full of flowers...
okok... Main dish here is grilled fish
not Portuguese type- the chilies taste dominant the fish type...
Not Malay type, grill with sambal n serve with sweet, sour n spicy sauce
but
simple grill on banana leave with fine sea salt
serve with limau kasturi n some special fried chili paste if u want too
so the keys of success for this stall are
1. Seafood are fresh
2. Chef control the time n fire well... Never over cook!
3. Reasonable price
4. Every dish is deicious, even the side dish like the choy sum n the fried tofu; fried smooth tofu serve with Thai sauce or pei dan (egg)
