What do you mean by this? Second hands seem intact with canon pinion

Can it b reset?

Or just not back to zero?

First it cant reset back to zero and then the hand just went loose. Picture taken before it went loose.

A minor shake will turn the second chrono hand as in the pics.

WOW! That look serious. I don't think you can find any watchmaker in your area with the spare parts to fix your heuer. The Valjoux 230 is not a common movement.

You may need to bring the watch to KL or even overseas for repair.

I have a few questions.
1. What is the status of this watch? Fixed or not?

2. When you reset it, does the Chrono seconds return to zero and then drops after you release the reset pusher?
If it does, a) the hammer might have come loose,
b) maybe a brake lever is broken. or something internal is broken for all that matters.

3. If you start stop reset and the hands still swing around regardless of the pusher being pressed, the Chrono hand tube might be loose.
check and see if the chrono hand is touching the glass. might just require resetting the chrono hand tighter.
Each handmade watch is sold with part of the watchmakers soul. The effort to make the watch perfectly flawless like a gem, takes a lot of the watchmakers concentration. You pay for the "Loving attention" they give to each movement and watch.

This watch is still not fix. The chrono second hand is just loose. Hopefully that is the only problem. Still looking for a watchmaker. ..

I know a well known master Heuer restorer/watchmaker based in Belgium. I sent my vintage Heuer Autavia Siffert for a complete restoration and he did a mighty good job. Contact me if your'e interested. Here are before and after shots of my Heuer.

LOL. Look at the hands. The case was refinish to have the original sunburst effect. Maybe not so obvious in the dark photo. Movement completely overhauled. Anyway I'm not in any way affiliated with the watchmaker, just sharing my experience. No need to hentam.

Hi skuirtgun, a mighty good looking siffert  big brother of autavias
Do pm me the contract of your watch maker. Would really comes in handy. And his work is pretty good especially the relumed hands. Didn't know it was relumed if not for the first pic. And it just cross my mind if the master is the same who did Heuerville 'alpha orange skunkworks' case?btw the bund overall is great just a loose hand. Can get it done locally.. at mwf shop maybe....

Thnx for the early publicity!

The rely me job from above pic of the heuer!

If u zoom in, I believe it's still can tell its hand job... Look at the lume at 6?
But this is common, unless there is a lume ring for u to fill in lume like Rolex

As for the hands... It's much easier, the application method is by paint through the back of the hand, hence, at the front, the unevenness was block by the hand steel.

Yes. Re lume can be done here! But hand job won't be perfect!
Especially if u ask for matching the vintage lume color
