Indeed a more accurate homage/ reissue/ reproduction of the original than the one I have. Congrats and wear it with good health.

Thanks all. Am very happy with it as well although it took me a few months to decide. It's still in excellent condition despite being from the 1960s. Only thing is the chrono hands sometimes get stuck at 7 o'clock. Not sure if I should bring her to see the doctor for this or is it to be "expected" from a vintage watch?
It's 38mm in size without crown with bi-directional rotating bezel.
From what I gather, the movement is a GP Cal.073/ Excelsior Park 40, manual wind with 17 jewels. Read somewhere earlier that min is 17 jewels? Probably a basic movement from the earlier years. Hoping some sifus can shed more light on this movement? Will post its pic shortly.
Cheers!

Oops sorry, didnt see that under the sun's glare on my laptop. Yes I did as dont know how nor have the tools to open the back myself. Dont know why it's called Excelsior Park 40. Would you have more info on the movement?

Just did a quick google... apparently the Excelsior Park 40 movement was introduced in 1940 and was in production and used till ca 1984. It was also used by Gallet/ Girrard Perregaux/ Sinn/ Zenith.

Being partial to smaller watches (<40mm), I must say I really like the 38mm size of your GP!

Thanks Zarium. I usually fancy bigger watches >40mm too but I think can make exceptions for min 38mm if the watch tugs at my heart.
