Greetings from sabah :)
« on: June 17, 2011, 08:54:56 AM »
Hi to all members :)

Came across this forum when i m browsing through ball aviator in google.

I have just started my interest in watches since last year, after getting bored of car modification heheee

My interest started when i came across moon phase watches ---- i just loved them !!!

After some time i started to gain interest on watch machanisms and here i end up in this reputable forum.

Hope to learn more from all members here and i'm particularly interested in maurice lacroix and ball aviator... Partly due to my budget hehee

I will post up my current watch collection later :)

Thx for accepting me MWF :)

jonhtks- Welcome to MWF

We also do 'near-engine' on automotive as well as watch talks.

However, be prepared to be poison kau x2

dc
I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

Welcome to the forum!
Something for you to think about.

A car's engine runs maybe few hours a day max and the oil needs to be change every 5000km or so.

A watch's movt only need cleaning and lubrication every 5-7yrs and some have it running 24/7.

Amazing no?

Well...granted the car engine sees more heat and explosion...the movt of a watch is still very impressive.
