Any Bell & Ross owners here?
« on: December 12, 2010, 08:15:24 PM »
Any?
How do you like their BR03 series?

I know Alvin has one right?

Anyone care to comment on the fit and finish plus wearability with shirt to office :P

Yesterday went for Journey Through Time event with members here and saw a br03 military ceramic and cant stop thinking bout it.
Only other one i like is the heritage model but i tried that on once for a brief minute but think its kinda big.

Whats the list price for one of these anyways?

This is one of those watches where you need to see in person.
The green is very dark and stale looking.

taka,

My BR-02 runs like a dream like +3s/day which is within COSC specs, very well made and printing on the dial is crisp and clean under the magnifier.PVD coating has not failed so far and pretty hard wearing.

Very comfortable altho a bit heavy and hunky

i'd a BR03-92 but sold it away as part of my consolidation exercise...the size of 42mm by 42mm is the right size...unless u prefer to own a statement then go for 46mm version.

make wise is quite decent and accuracy is pretty good.

i must say i was captivated by the military version but it's not readily available then...so i ended up with the 92. go for it...it's unique. i bought it like a year ago (or slightly over) and i paid S$3200 for it...i think the price has since went up by 20%...

cheers

james

Peter,

I find my 03-92 comfy if compared to 46mm for sure. As for the finishing, I remember the case is produced by Cartier. Can't be bad, right?

The square case definitely looks outstanding, now with this military green... wow! I like it too but at around RM10k... :-\ I would better buy the camo Citizen.  ;D

am an owner of a br-03 92. personally i do not like the feel of the watch on my wrist. to me, it is not too comfortable to wear. however, i must applaud the sturdiness of the built and the watch is very very solid. the legibility of the dial is also really great. my rubber strap on my BR has nonetheless disintegrate and the velcro on the canvas strap is not too secure so my watch is currently in cold storage until i can find a suitable nato strap for it.

Wow didnt know the cases made by Cartier.

GMAC88,
There is a lot of ppl making custom leather strap for it and i've seen some really good ones, why not try it?

Hi bro takashi,
unfortunately i am a heavy sweater thats why i prefer a waterproof or washable strap hence i prefer a rubber or nato strap. Even my Pams are all on the OEM rubber straps.

which br-03 92 are you referring to bro ex660? the ceramic ones are available at C***ina at Starhill. The PVD versions of the br-03 are discontinued i believe.

last week i had 3 choices of what watch im going to buy..
br03 military ceramic or..
DOXA 750GMT sharhunter (online purchase)..or..
2nd hand Omega seamaster 300 Professional..

but i bought Tudor Hydro1200 instead of those 3..
for me BR is such a nice watch..but in term of price i think it is over priced..nothing special about its movement or its fucntions...for  br03 military ceramic  hv been offered rm12000...in fact it is the only 2 models from BR that i like..the other one is BR 01-93  GMT...
bottom line...BR is over-priced

yeah the tudor hydro is once cool watch. saw a few guys wears it with the rubber strap. highly unmistakable and handsome watch

the price is very good to boot for such a finely built watch. really kick myself silly wondering how come most watch companies can't produce watches of the same quality and price bracket as a tudor eventhough they use the same ETA movements.

great choice my friend
