Love or hate his sense of humor?



Dec.7 (YallaF1.com) Bernie Ecclestone will feature in a one-off tongue-in-cheek Hublot advertisement in the wake of his recent highly publicised mugging in London. The advert will run tomorrow (8 December) in International Herald Tribune and Financial Times.

Ecclestone was violently mugged in London on 25 November and his Hublot watch was stolen from his wrist. His girlfriend Fabiana Flosi was also a victim in the night time attack.

After the incident, the F1 supremo sent a picture along with a short note to Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver the same day. Since the two have a certain shared sense of humor, they agreed to make an advert.

The advert shows the real un-retouched  photograph along with Ecclestone’s original comment which was: “See what people will do for a Hublot.”

When asked if Ecclestone get paid in any way for the advert, Hublot sponsoring manager Mike Croft said, “No. The ad was his idea. To show defiance to his attackers more than anything else! Nothing to do with money.”

It won't happen to me, I hope, as people would guess that I wear a fake watch based on my look  :D

Hublot is so fusion in it's design in earlier days... Till we all accepted it now... Mixing of all kind of material with it's unique design...
I dun think it look like tissot...

Talking about getting mugged in Central London! Well, let me just say that the crime rate is London is way too high. My car was broken into 3 times in a short span of 9 months (when it's parked right in front of the house). :Mad: That has never happened to me even once (fingers crossed) in Malaysia. And of course Bernie has excellent sense of humour (when you're a billionaire, losing a Hublot to a bunch of robbers is much better than losing your life).   

For the third incident, they took away the DVD player. :Scolding:
