Nice looking and handsome watch! Price wise, this is almost approaching the lower end GS or Credor, no?
Peanut,
The list price approaches the lower end GS but still way cheaper compared to GS chronographs or Credor pieces.
Congrats
Nice looking SEIKO
Thanks Scott.
Always loved the Brightz range of watches. But not available easily in Msia right?
I know only one of 2 shops carry it in KL as per info from Hush.
Does this one have a display back?
I wonder why with all of Seiko's know how they dont have their "lower end" movts (if you can call yours that) accuracy better?
Peter,
This is a JDM model, so I got it direct from Japan. Even if it was available here you can always expect Thong Sia to add a healthy premium to the list price.
It comes with a solid case back, so you'll have to use your imagination to visualize the 8R28 movement, or you can visit
this website for a wonderful collection of SAGK003 photos including a few superb macro shots of the movement.
I believe Seiko, being a typical Japanese company, is simply being conservative when it comes to the accuracy figures.
danny, good catch... this one in my radar some time ago... struggling to choose this or the velatura le...
but gave up both later
Chris,
I was also considering the Velatura LE but I was not too excited by the case design. I chose the SAGK003 because of the 3-6-9 chronograph layout and the contrasting sub dials. Also at 41mm it fits my wrist better than the Velatura.
Besview,
PM sent.
got a very carerra auto chrono look to it... =P
Genec,
I'm told that it resembles the vintage Heuer 2446C. You can judge for yourself here:
