Hi all, planning to get a watch for my bf during his birthday, budget around 5-6K. any suggestion?

1st i wan 2 b ur BF

2nd - auto or quartz/battery

3rd - sport vs classic

4rd - work or leisure / couple watch

5th - chronograph or non

6th - brand preference

7th - d list can go on but i think u get most d idea now, once u boil down tis few things then plenty of suggestion will pour fr d members

1st, i m not planning to have another BF yet, I can put you in the KIV list,

prefer auto, sport or classic will be fine, as long as it worth the money. my bf owned Longines, Oris, Tag, Rolex, Seiko, Ball, Tissot. Was thinking wanna get a brand that he dun hv, or something among these brands as that's what he like?

anyway, d nearest 2 ur budget n diff brand will b Tudor, cuz Omega auto will b slightly out

of course there is also somthing like Glycine, Sinn, soli tat im very sin ka also

If you are looking for something that you BF does not own yet, my suggestion is :
Fortis
Hamilton
or get some of those Limited Ones... from the brand that you have mentioned.. that might work wonders...

Fortis, if you can , get the new B42 - limited 2002 edition... Stealth Black... digg the whole watch itself...
IF you wan more "hyper" one.. get those Spacematic.... that comes with a box, and an extra strap... but not sure if that is within ur budget....

Sinn, the latest one is very nice. but limited to 400 pcs i think.... and i dun think we can get it here... (my speculation)

OMG... thanks for both of ur suggestions.. i love all the suggestions that you guys provide, now i cannot decide d.

Fortis B42 was my first choice before i came into this forum, but not the black stealth. after i see the black-black model (black stealth), i love it so much, better than the one i was thinking to get.

Sinn U1 is nice too... i think it suit my bf

Hamilton Khaki series are gorgeous too.. how le

My suggestion, get ALL THREE.. and then give him for his Birthday, Raya, Deepavali, Christmas, New Year, Chinese New year, your anniversary... where u stay> go and see the watches in your place la....

Fortis is definitelty worth the money as i have TOUCH and FEEL them before... and fell head over heels for it... but my finance minister does not allow such vigorous spendings yet.. hahehahehaeh
