New SS Daytona, ceramic bezel
Pros: Highly demanded model, limited stock, guaranteed value appreciation, 5 yrs warranty, reasonable service cost.
Cons: Need to pay premium, you might want to see the movt at this price point, just another Rawlex
Lange 1 in white gold case
Pros: Top notch movt, Extremely beautiful dail, precious metal, must have one Lange in my lifetime, Who else can topped the Swiss Trinity if not Lange?
Cons: Service support, handle with care, not as versatile

At this price point, I would go for the ALS.
-
Go for als and share the pics. And also your VC too.

Would go for the Used Lange , what year was it made ?
-
Why not Patek Philippe?
-
I would pick Lange.
But probably only because I refuse to pay a premium for something that should be readily available!

Daytona definitely overpriced. So I would go ALS...but which model?

I think Daytona will be better choice in long run, the chance you feel regret is lower. I owned Lange before and still come back to rolex after that, so speaking from my real experience

Lange is good watch , but for some reason i Still don’t own a single piece , something there is preventing me to buy it than the others . For me is Rolex .
-
Not many Lange models in the Daytona price range .... maybe one of the Saxonia references ?
Alternatively for the same price, you can't go wrong with an Aquanaut either, though that is just as difficult to get.

As much as I respect ALS and the Lange 1. As much as I love the Lange 1, I know for a fact that it would be difficult to have this watch as one for daily wear. It is uncommon, beautiful, deeply respected and a work of art. It still isn’t a practical watch to wear. I’d go Daytona over the Lange 1.
-
for own self, i'd get lange, unless u plan to sell in future daytona will be better bet
-
I would go for ALS as well purely because I'm not a fan of Daytona.
-
If you dont want to wait. I have a new daytona. Hehe but i think lange is better if you can find one.
-
For 85k, Lange all the way for me...

The Daytona Ceramic is a no-brainer beater that could be easily flipped with no losses if kept pristine, but the premium these days were quite crazy. I would rather go for more exclusive models like the YM40 Everose or Daytona Everose (as Chris mentioned above). Or better yet, get the YM40 Platinum at RM45k and use the excess RM40k to get a BLNR. That was the route that I recently ventured on.

A “no-brainer beater” at RM75k. I like this definition.

The madness of premium priced ceramic Daytona makes me angry...
At that price, plenty of options, like used AP RO/ROO
-
would prefers daytona
-
one vote for daytona ceramic black. waiting period 2 years perhaps :(

If you dont plan to sell the watch in the future, then definitely Lange. If you plan to sell the watch in the future, then definitely Daytona.
