Hi guys! I just window shopping last week, looking for a new perspective ,new inspiration for 2015 :). Apparently, old habit die hard. Can't still take my eyes off the black dial watch, numerals, diameter at least 44 mm. It is the Oris Propilot day-date. Got mix feedback for the Oris , especially about movement they use , the Sellita. For this model is SW220-1. Does anyone here had own this model? The MSRP is around RM5.8k. Or there is a better choice for this kind of price range?

I suggest 41mm without the day complication will be more versatile and look more.. Just my personal preference Lah haha.

I had tried it out Oris Propilot 44mm. It's too big for me. If you have a large wrist, then it should be fine for you.

Tag heuer watch is better than oris
-
Both brands also a good watch.
TAG Heuer is owned by LVMH which is a huge company consists of many fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior BVLGARI, etc.
For ORIS, it’s just a private company without any backing of any fashion brand. In term of marketing, it can’t push their brand as what their competitors do.
ORIS watches are known to be solid, good craftsmanship & quality and all ORIS watches are Swiss Made and it’s protected by law and serves as a guarantee of quality.

i second that. Oris is swiss entry level watches. they also playing safe with the movement - Tudor in house movement is great, but i still prefer ETA base, no need to send to swiss for repair *i guess?
and Oris with bold red case back display is macho 8)

Cant go wrong with entry level swiss watch wt Oris, especially the propilot variance. Been rocking dem propilots for years. There's an ORIS repair shop as well at wisma UOA, close to KLCC
