I have another hidden gem from Grand Seiko up for sale
This is a JDM exclusive and discontinued model, very rare and probably the only one in Malaysia. It has the classic Grand Seiko dial that changes color depending on how light interplays with the polished inner case, but differentiated with a red minute ring and red tipped second hand. A classic dress watch that had been elevated to have some sporty vibes thanks to the dash of red, akin to classic analog speedometer.
The condition of the watch is great for its age, it was first purchased from Japan in March 2019 and Im the second owner. It movement is the highly reputable accurate 9S65 grand seiko movement and no issues with time keeping / power reserves with it. It has the mirror zaratsu polishing we all love from Grand Seiko. There is some minor scruff and scratch marks on the case and near the lugs which is likely damaged during strap change by the previous owner. I would say that the condition is fairly good considering the age and have tried to capture the scratches as honestly and accurate as possible, I would rate it 7.75/10.
The watch is currently mounted on a genuine black alligator strap by RIOS 1931 worth around USD190 and will be included as part of the sale, it has a signed "GS: buckle but not original. It had been lightly use and still plenty of life left. The original bracelet was hardly used by the previous owner and shows little signs of use and comes with all the original links intact. Only sign of use is a minor hairline scratch on the clasp, refer photo.
Im pricing this at a reasonable RM10,500, one of the cheapest Grand Seiko with the 9S65 movement out there. Slightly negotiable for a serious buyer. Grand Seiko price had been creeping up due to their increasing popularity and no longer the cool secret that only true watch enthusiast knows and appreciate. This is your chance to experience all the Grand Seiko goodness at a bargain price, don't sleep!
