The Omega Seamaster 300 is the refreshed version of Omega's first dive watch which debuted in 1957. Vintage watch lovers rejoice as the watch oozes vintage dize watch charm; panerai style sandwich dial and 500 Vickers oxalic anodized aluminium bezel filled with faux patina lume. The lume shot is a sight to behold (refer my pics).
One of the biggest reason why I chose this watch over its more modern and contemporary brother, the diver 300 is because of its excellent bracelet which tapers beautifully from 21mm to 16mm, making it possible for a person like me who has a small 6.5 inch wrist to wear it. It is extremely classy and comfortable with brushed inner links flanked by polished outer links.
Last but not least is the heart of the watch, the Omega Master Co-Axial caliber 8912, a METAS-certified automatic movement with 60 hours of power reserve, anti-magnetic up to 15,000 gauss. It has independently adjustable hour hand at the 1st crown position which basically makes it a traveller watch.
Sadly, I had just bought one of my grail watch and just have too many watches so have to let this one go as not getting enough wrist time. This watch currently retails at MYR29,450.
