RRP Pricing reference
« on: July 23, 2020, 01:38:22 PM »
Hi all,

Being new in the forum, there is so much to learn.
I know from all the internet research roughly how much what watch is selling in the grey market. with condition such as new, unworn, etc

But is there a thread that has RRP prices of watches as a reference. Some brands like Omega, BR, Zenith will have RRP prices listed on their website but for instance ROLEX, what is the actual retail price of their models. I mean i cant make out how much price increase from Retail. Of course walking in local AD to inquire about the price works, but i am more of like a person who likes to read of the internet.

How much is for example, if you can buy in store
ROLEX SUBMARINER
GMT
EXPLORER 2

Thanks guys

You can actually walk into the shop and ask the price of the models of your choice too.

They won't even look at me, you think they will answer? Probably laugh at me when I ask the price.

It's an interesting idea to put watch RRP here when we know it.

If anyone enters a store and know some retail price. It’s great that it is shared. At least like a bench mark. I mean I always look at the for sales thread. Then seller mentioned that the watch is sold at RMxxxx

Sometimes I look at website to find out the RRP but some brands don’t display them.
So it’s kinda hard for me to know if the watch it’s a good deal haha

Lucky you.. if I tried to go in with shorts, they might ask security to see me out....

Sadly most of the time I walk into an AD, the SA all try very hard not to see me. Once I even wave to one and they quickly look away and walk off.

.

Probably I muka tebal la. But I do walk in with the mindset of wanting to buy. Guess that helps. One thing's for sure, they treat customers differently. Ive walked in once with some big shots, straight they offer them a YM II without any prior purchase history.
