My humble take is, the 62mas reissue with the 8L movement is really too expensive. I mean, its in the GS price range for an "undecorated" GS movement. So no la...and the ones with the 6R movements go for over RM5K. Let's see la...

Just out of curiosity,is it better to buy grand seiko in Malaysia or overseas?where will be cheaper after taking into consideration our currency,discount and vat refund

Unfortunately Thong Sia's pricing schema for GS is much higher in Malaysia compared to Japan even after taking into consideration discounts and GST.

I went to Bangkok Siam Paragon Center before, the GS price is slightly cheaper than our JB GS AD. But compared to Japan GS price for the Hi Beat model , Malaysia is easily another RM 3k lower .

Btw do bangkok Siam paragon center give discount?Malaysia AD more or less give the same discount.Will go explore Siam paragon again
