Interested to get a Tissot Sea Touch. however the t-touch series from tissot seems to be problematic. anyone here has any experience with these models? what are your thoughts about this watch?

Dun have experience owning one, but had the opportunity to hold it & try on my wrist.....What I can say is, its a bulky & heavy watch. The touch screen is kinda cool features. I like the way Tissot making the sensor. Make overall of the watch feel so solid.  The price is about RM3k+

thanks for the feedback..i like the look of the dial and bezel. has a ceramic look to it and is reminiscent of the Aquatimer.

I'm one of the owner of the earlier batch of t-touch. I have sent my watch to the service center for 3 times -

1. Due to battery leakage, the representative said that the engine of the watch got to be changed. (RM 380)
2. The hour hand seem to be lagging behind and need constant synchronization between the analog and digital timing. (found out that the watch is fine, advise me to synchronize the watch once a while)
3.  The watch is giving inaccurate reading for the meteo function(pressure reading) and altimeter(altitude reading). (Can't remember the reason but i gave up on fixing the watch)

The watch is really cool with its touch screen function.

Heard about that problem also from a friend for the earlier batch. Maybe they already sort the problem for the new batch.

battery leakage? is it because the battery was not replaced when the watch battery died? i also heard of problems with the water resistance in the earlier batch. i hoped it has been ironed out in the sea touch since it is a diver watch.

The battery leakage is my fault, lazy to change the battery and end up paying 10 times more.
