I attended the event with some of my staff and went to my regular shop to pick up a new G just for the event. ;D

The hot off the oven non atomic G-1200BD Sky Cockpit. Will be readily available next month onwards.

On the event itself, that old dude is the legendary Kikuo Ibe, the founder and creator of G-Shock, who by the way gave an excellent welcome speech in BM!

And while it's great to see g-shock collaborate with local designers, the general consensus among G-shock collectors was the KL only exclusive Gs were "too safe" a design. Wish the designers would have gone a little crazier with more colors (1Malaysia colors perhaps?).

Here's the link to streething's post for more photos on the two watches http://www.streething.com/archives/26287

I believe the 'old dude' is the guy who created the Casio G-Shock.
