Sea and Air: Battle of the Subs and an Outsider
« on: July 15, 2010, 10:32:27 PM »
Which one would you guys choose?

was originally thinking and quite adamant in getting a 14060M but after strapping a few more on the wrist, I am at bits.

The low euro is really tempting to get a IIc whereas I love the green on the Sub but paying premium for a LV compared to a normal Sub is kinda taxing on the wallet. But green bring my favourite colour and the maxi dial is jsut so sweet.

should i jsut get the 14060 and save a bit bullet for a PAM25 later on and just heck with it and get either a LV/GMTIIc and wait a lil' longer for a 25?

Which one is ur fave and if you're only down to one choice to keep..which one would u choose and why?

cheers

btw.. Sshark this pic is for you. Your grail Smurf Sub

I love the Sub LV myself.
But after so many years its still carrying a premium is just ridiculous.

Not a fan of cyclop, thus the choice is obvious for me. And cleaner dial with no COSC words.

mate, the LV is not premium before discontinued (yes, it was but i managed to get one at retail price back in Feb this year). Now selling around 20 to 21 which I think still reasonable. Used (good condition) around 18 to 19.

If it's hard to make decision, just save the money ;) That's what i do but failed to do so most of the time ;D
Just pick the one you like the most la..no "why" or "logic" behind one la.. you will not want to buy an expensive watch based on what WE like, right?

good luck!

Personally I prefer the older case design with the slimmer sharper lugs to the new super case design. So for me it's really a toss up between the no date sub with its clean dial design and the LV sub with unique green bezel and date function.

i'm selling my 16610 and going after the gmtIIc.

basically i was sold when it was on the wrist, chunkier and my god that ceramic bezel is nice :)

from a pam back to the 16610, does feel smaller and dressier.

Tough choice between the Sub ND & GMT ii
One has a cleaner dial & brushed ss bracelet while the other has more heft & presence but half brushed & half polished ss bracelet...
Hmmm... How ah...
If i am forced to make a choice... it would be the Sub ND
