Will You Wear A More Expensive Watch Than Your Customer/Client?
« on: January 08, 2011, 10:21:05 AM »
Well.. since there is a thread on would you wear an expensive watch comparing to you boss.. so now I want to start this instead. Comparing to your client or customer..

You can also comment eventhough you are not in Customer Service or Sales or Markeing line. You can always be the customer and give your thought what if you see someone from the above job meeting up with you?

For me.. I will try to avoid wearing expensive watch infront of them, unless I know if they are really have no knowledge on watch.

Yes. I would not be discourage or think too much about what the other party is thinking as
a) i've worked hard to buy the watch i am wearing
b) i didnt steal from them to get my watch
c) i didnt ask anything from them to get my watch
also if we are all scared to wear expensive stuff then lets all wear the cheap white cotton t shirt, wear the plastic slippers, wear those stripe shorts from any discount store and so on and so forth.
Lesson: Dont bother about what other people would think as it is their own opinion. Wear what you like.

hmm, for me i too agree that we should all be individuals and do watever u like. which is why there are so many watch brands and models out there.

i'd also go as far as wearing whichever watch i like for watever occasion it is.

however, this is not true if you have a solid YG/RG watch. cos then it is REALLY *BLING* and u r looking for trouble :)

wat do u guys think, Yellow Gold Daytona, u still wear it out to ur customer/client/boss/creditors?

Just wear anything including ur watch to fit the occasion. E.g. don't go ask for a loan wearing an Armani suit arriving in a Porsche like those US car makers' CEO arriving in private jet to beg the congress for money to bail them out.
