Bremont
« on: January 02, 2011, 11:26:56 AM »
Some of the designs have caught my eye but there are some views that the pricing is a tad high for what is non-manufacture and new brand.

I saw a post on a GTG sometime in August last year where a couple of you handled the watches.

What your impression on build quality and finishing?

And what is the pricing like, especially for the MBII? If it's against forum rules to discuss the RM, can someone PM me the price?

Looking forward to your views.

Thanks.
Nick

Case is the soul for this watch... High tech high engineering... Hard!
It is a solid tough watch... Just like sinn, ball n damasko...
If u like it's design y not?
As for price... I reserve my opinion here bcoz, I never like the design so I never actually study it's
engineering stuff... So not qualify to commend actually!!!

Thanks for your feedback. I do like the design and casing and the fact that it has a hardness vickers of 2000.

But I am also aware it's not in-house movement. So the pricing is kind of crucial especially if there's some premium. Have you any idea what they cost?

Every brand has it uniqueness, so it is very hard to compare, even if I tell u these 2 watches used same movement but diff case n design

case A hardness is 2000
case B hardness only 800

which 1 should price higher?

The hardness is on surface? Entire steel?

How to determine level of finishing?
How well these watches tested?
After sales service?
...

Too many factors n it can be very subject for certain factor!!!

What if u found the price too high for A but u do not like B
so how? If u can't sleep well without it... Buy it! Otherwise look for another 1!

I suggest you go to the AD and ask if no members here have it.

has a very Rolex-y feel to it..built quality is superb. However, i remembered not getting one was because the price was a bit stiff and high. Cant seem to remember exactly how much they cost but if not mistaken i think was retailing above Rm15k.

I share this view. To me the designs and build quality feels good, but some other brands offer better price:value.

GMAC88 & kltime,
Thanks so much for your feedback. That was helpful. I just needed an indicative pricing to help decide whether it would be worth the trouble to check it out at the AD. Much appreciated.

Cheers!

Its always fun to visit the AD unless its like 100km from your house.
Watches need to be wear n try on no matter how good the spec or looks it look on the internet.

And again value is too subjective and means different things for different people.

Price in the region of early 5 figures. I think you can get good discount on this brand.
