Was reading The Star weekend footie pullout today and somehow was drawn to Maurinho's DSSD and Ronaldo's Hublot.

Not that hard to dismiss since it's so prominent.

so I was wondering anyone spotted any nice pieces on the wirst of the R&F and also movies:

let me start the ball rolling:

1. Maurinho - DSSD (Beckham also is spotted wearing one on many occasion)
2. Ronaldo - Hublot BB
3. Daniel Wu - IWC BP (in Overheard)
4. Ekin Cheng & Jordan Chan - (Young & Dangerous) Daytona Black and White dial
5. Jan Lamb - Sub Date

Think i have too much time on my hands.

I got one question.. Does the big shot like our PM or Sultans NEED TO WAIT for the watches (panerai for example) like all we do. Or they can JUST "ask and you shall receive" on the spot

Btw how about the YTL ceo (forgot the name) whose passion for watches make way for the event "A journey through time"

YTL CEO, u means Francis Yeoh?? i guess if the AD really have no stock and those big shot still have to wait rite? Even tat is ex-stock but AD will give priority to those regular or big shot and ask the small fly like me to wait...

I suspect the AD will get the stock flown over. I don't see big shots having to wait for anything.

yeah man...reminds of of stories how my friend's father who is a local contractor.. would get invoices "sent" to his office for payment of gifts

He could be jolly well telling the truth (unless there is a way to prove he was lying). If ,say, Francis Yeoh wore a replica, you would think he's wearing a real rather fake even if it looks fake.

I watched Eraser on HBO yesterday, the start or very beginning of the movie shows a Panerai watch already for about 2 to 3 seconds.. ahahhahaa... that watch now cost around USD90 akakakkkkaa

Seems like our local politicians have a penchant for watches unlike those over the causeway whom publicly are mode modest. Privately..with their million dollar paychecks..who knows?

Saw in todays Straits Times (SG and not the local NST), a pic showing Kelatan Sultan on his hospital bed with a hand on his shoulder. On the unknown person's wrist an unmistakable octagonal bezel-oversize-chrono pushers; a AP ROO.

Also an article on Mukhriz Mahadthir... on his wrist a white dialed Daytona.

i especially love those newspaper shots of a big shot/YB handling a RM5=300 ringgit donation or RM 500 goods to fire/flood victims and the wrist is wearing a Rolex...

not to say i am not thankful to them for this act of kindness but the irony of it is just amazing...

4) Chan kong choy : Richard mille RM010 or RM005 rose gold
5) Ong tee keat : some cheapskeat watch
6) Owen something , chinese guy : BELL & ROSS
7) Mawi : a fake BELL & ROSS

Sultan selangor : PANERAI 47mm .. i suppose a 1950
9) Maybank CEO : Tag heuer grand carrera calibre 8

Its fake coz BELL ROSS didnt produce that model at all.. furthermore has some little shiny pvd... ! sure fake loh
