Congrats Peter...
I know you love gold..anyway this piece is tasteful..
Wah brand new piece izit

You're far more generous and big hearted than me.. I just can't bear to pay so much for a Daytona even though I think its an excellent watch..
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Jos,
Got it slightly below retail. But still a BIG hit on the bank account.

Stickers already off since the pic taken hehe.
Day the pic was taken was the day after i got the watch.

Already a nice hairline scratch on the bezel.
But i guess in 2yrs all that wont be noticeable  :P

Ref 116520 in steel. Nicely balanced dial, and surprisingly very legible. A class piece.

et tu, Pete. Like I said, some really wonderful pieces showing up.
Still on the coach back from S'pore when you took the shot? Wouldn't have guess that you'll fall for a Daytona, let alone a TT.
Wear in good health and wealth.
Couldn't get anywhere near Kelana Jaya, had to turn back.  >:(

Yikes, silly me. The bezel would have been a giveaway. Was caught in the massive crawl last night just trying to get out without managing to get in.

Wrong pip.
Wrong rehaut.
Wrong laser etched coronet.

The crown etching on glass too obvious and also the chapter ring wording slightly smaller and etching too light.

from far it looks like genuine.

the "A" fonts are wrong
the gap between the minute markers and the chapter ring is too obvious
no anti-reflective coating on the cyclops

Ah, a beauty! Wonder what does the L or T that precedes and succeeds Swiss Made means?  ???

In this case, L indicates that the watch utilises luminescent material. T indicates that it uses Tritium to activate it's glow.
