« on: June 17, 2010, 01:40:31 PM »
i came across this independent watch maker, loved their vintage models...but can't afford, plus i think they only have 1 unit left, the VDB SE.

Check out their watches at http://projekt.planungskommission.de/vdb/

if any forumer manage to get one, pls PM me, i really want to see the actual watch. Coffee on me!!hehehe

Looks interesting with vintage GO and UG movts.
How do you know they all sold out except for one?
Whats the retail price on one of them?

hahah! although being a poor man....im still curious and constantly looking for good buys...not in the premium segments but more on the independent watch makers. i send them an email, and they replied me. very nice lady and informative.

the VDB SE version is about Euro 2500. and the others are slightly cheaper. but they are launching a new project soon, and even nicer but more expensive and might be using a Rolex movement. the bezel is not round this time, more of the AP styling but in its own unique style.

Just check out their future project links, and you see what i mean. And Friends, its only 15 units. so better start saving if you like it.

i love vdb's work! i used to own one of his homage MM's which ran on vintage cortebert 616 movements... an absolute beauty of a vintage workhorse. some consider his work a beautiful form of art and i too think he's done some of the best vintage works the world has seen.
