If high end vintage, Ebay is a good place but you have to know what you're looking for and do your homework before buying.

Vintages most likely through the  internet. And if you do get a seller from Malaysia the asking price seems to be generally higher than other offering.I have acquired a few Rolex vintages from some well known websites but you must always check the seller.Go for the ones with plenty of postings and previous sales.Know what you are looking for. Also roughly the market rate of the more common vintages.Negotiate the price, and finally get a reference check of the seller. There are plenty of good guys out there willing to help. One other thing is be patient.Good luck

Make a trip to Johor to his shop, it's only 3-4 hours from KL. You get to select & try it on.

Finally made my way to the shop yesterday. Some nice collection of vintages... he's got trays and trays of them. I think reasonably priced although price is somewhat fixed especially if you deal over phone/mail. Got myself a little Titoni which is fun.

Note: Please check his descriptions properly so you know what you're buying. He'll usually state if any parts are non-ori. Some dials are restored.

Happy Hunting!

Hi, a few updates here.
Haven't got any chance to deal with watchlim, but have personally went to a few reputable antique watch shops in Melaka & Johor area. Sadly haven't found anything that I like that are in my affordable range.. Am personally more interested in a Rolex. Hunting for a 6694 or 1601, or if I could get a 1803 below RM10k.... or if I should wake up :Blue:

Vintage enough or not is depends on your personal preference.

To some people, a 5 year old watch also can be vintage.  ;)

Ebay. But be very very careful and do your research first.
