St. Kilda on the weekends. The Melbourne Museum. The Melbourne Aquarium (we love aquariums). Phillip Island to watch the penguins come in the evenings.

Flakes and chips at Ol’ School Fish & Chips (566 Brunswick St, Fitzroy North) or The Seafood Shak (150 Scotchmer St, North Fitzroy). There is one in Williamstown but I can't remember the name. The restaurant overlooks the bay and has a killer cheese platter and also a killer nut platter.

And if you miss Malaysian food, Little Malaysia Restaurant on Little Bourke Street is not too bad. Go early as there are lots of people.

If you can make it, Phillip Island is just awesome. Just be prepared to come back late. The experience of seeing the Fairy Penguins running around your legs and to feel the fierce and cold Pacific wind is just as awesome. But I love the ocean so I enjoy such things.

Look out for the cup cakes (generally cakes) in the St. Kilda area. Go on the weekends. Sometime you get a nice surprise on the tram trip to or from St. Kilda. The last time I was there, an aboriginal guy was on board and he played the didjeridu on the tram all the way back to Melbourne central.

You can also try The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant. Go on-line to book early as usually full.

crown casino hotel is nice cause my company puts me there but he casino is blah.. :-\ nothing much special like your usual run of the mill casinos.

better off going down to MBS if you wanna window shop and play a round or two. MBS shopping gallery is a WIS haven.

stick with the other recommendations given by the bros

try to drop by WatchCo if you're there

quite easy to miss it if you're not looking cause it's just a hole in the wall kind of shop.

although nothing much to look at.. but a good way to spend 10-15 minutes playing with their re-production of vintage omegas. it's right smack in city centre near the train station vacinity.

Italian food are not bad there, cant remember the street name, but one restaurant with the name of "University cafe", may be you can google out. If you like beef, their beef steak is so juicy, another place will be "Victoria Market", check it out.....it just too many food and too little time  :Laughing_on_floor:

If you like beer, try their local beer like Fat yak, beez neez, I love them the most.

Rent a car for the Great Ocean Road  day trip drive out. A scenic coastal drives - beaches, farms, 12 Apostles, iconic surf areas. If u r lucky u can see koalas and kangaroos at Tower Hill.
