I did make a report to mudah one of it and was told that the suspicious ad has been removed.

Mudah can't afford to check through all the adverts to ensure the authenticity, although they could attempt to do so. I lost count of how many times pictures of watches in my blog were used by other sellers (genuine or otherwise) in their adverts. Tried reporting but it would just be re-inserted again. Then I started putting watermark on my pictures and I saw such action being stopped to a certain extent. Apparently, Mudah does not allow pictures with watermark to be featured in the adverts.

buying and selling in MWF is the safestDisclaimer:
Not only mudah, please be cautious when buying online.
My approach,
1. If its too good to be true, run!
2. Buy the seller
3. Always ask for more pictures, ensure he has the watch, i.e watch with today newspaper, set the time to 4.30 etc
4. COD
5. Only transact online if you willing to lose
Just random, you can request 10.10 1230 up to you.Not only mudah, please be cautious when buying online.

Sorry if it's a stupid question but why set the time to 4.30?
I never try eBay or Mudah. They keep the money in escrow till you give them the okay to release?
I always purchase from Catawiki online. More than 10 times, I always can block the payment to the seller if I don't receive the item that I purchase by dropping the email to Catawiki Customer service.

Importantly is to show you he got the watch.

https://www.mudah.my/Rolex+Submariner+16610+Fullset-60894423.htmWas gonna go further with the intent to buy that blue Samurai till I noticed who was selling it.
He's back at it again. There are two police reports against him already.
Whoever the seller is, you knew that’s something wrong with that price offered.https://www.mudah.my/Rolex+Submariner+16610+Fullset-60894423.htmWas gonna go further with the intent to buy that blue Samurai till I noticed who was selling it.

Buyer beware:
My friend was looking for an Omega Speedmaster The Legend Collection and we found a seller at Mudah.my

The funny thing is even though it claimed to have a store in KK, there are no contact details (address nor phone). So we contacted it thru mudah asking for address and more details of the watch.
The seller then gave the address of a Hypermarket in Lahad Datu. I asked my associate near the area to check out the shop, which he could not find. Then my friend asked the seller to send a pick of the watch at a nine o'clock position.
And this is the watch at nine o'clock position. What a dumb con-man. :HammerHead: :Laughing_on_floor:

Hi Guys. Just posting some information. Me and a group of his victims are currently working together to try and find this individual. From our investigation so far, we've managed to discover that this is actually a syndicate headed by an individual named Raman A/L Nadasan. He has 2 known associates namely Ravi Chandran a/l Supraminiam, and Ravisandaran Govindan.
The details are as follows :-
Raman a/l Nadasan
631226-02-5819
No 148, Lorong 1 Jln Tun Abd Razak Johor Bahru.
Ravi Chandaran a/l Supramaniam
730801-07-5585
12P, Lorong bilibis 17, Taman bilibis Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang
For Ravidaran, his details are irrelevant as this particular individual will only lead us to a dead end. Progress can only be made through these two names headed by Raman a/l Nadasan. If you wish to join us in exposing and finding these individuals and get your money back, reply this thread and i will put you into our group along with the others. We're making quick progress. I will also share the pictures of these individuals soon for recognition.
Very odd why Mudah still allows the scammer to post up his ads ?
Freakin scammer would text me everytime i posted a watch ad on Mudah! 2-3 scammers on 1 watch..#trolltime

Does anybody frequently come across watch scammers on the Internet? Especially Carousell.
If you're selling watches, they'll seal the deal almost instantly without negotiating, try to get your email, and pretend to ask for around RM1k 'for the payment to be successful'. Lol
If you're buying watches, I notice some well-below-market-price hot models listed by scammers. The one I encountered tried to sell a fake Rolex Submariner 116610LN for RM30.8k on Carousell lol. When I ask her to Video Call just to see the watch, she said 'Sorry I am married woman, cannot video call'. Then I asked her to send a picture of the watch turned to a specific time, she sent me a picture another watch instead, alamak..
Just be careful. 😆
