« on: January 13, 2018, 09:06:40 AM »
Needs to be on a bracelet, around 10-12mm case thickness, 20mm lug width and not a Seiko.. Show me some recommendations MWF! :Jumping:

Baltic 001 Bicompax. The design of that watch is so balance and beautiful. I know it uses a sea-gull movement, but I don't see anything wrong with that.

A slightly used Muhle Glashutte or a Sinn might be within your budget. Have a look in German watches.

Really depends on what you looking for.. Diver? Aviator? Dress watch? Also, does the movement type matters (quartz vs auto)

If i have a budget of rm 5k, maybe i look at Oris, Tag or Mido... I think maurice lacroix also might be able to squeeze into the 5k budget

In 5k budget ill go for Seiko, Mido, Longines, Ball, or Federique Constant if you are into dress watch. You'll be able to get huge discounts on Ball & FC if you know where to find

Good luck with your hunt !

If your budget is 5K for a brand new watch you might want to consider Hamilton, Mido, Junghan, 7 Fridays...

Hmm.. I think you should go for a used watch.
Nothing great in the price range except a Seiko.

For the price, if you're looking into used watches, there's plenty

Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 or if you're lucky calibre 16
Longines Hydroconquest Automatic
Oris Divers 65 or Aquis (Really handsome looking watches)
Sinn
I like lots of watches but can only afford a few

I'd go pre-owned. Can get better deals for brand name models. RM5k can net you anywhere from an Oris to Tag Heuer for established brands.

If you're willing to stretch your budget a bit, the 2018 Oris Aquis date looks good. Quite the bang for your buck.

A used Speedmaster Reduced? Although the lug width is 18mm...

With that budget can go for Swiss Made like mid range like Tudor and Tissot perhaps?
