If you have complications of any of the followings, and you would like to wear the watch once in a while, I will recommend to have the watch stored in watch winder to maintain the function:
1. Perpetual Calendar,
2. Annual Calendar or
3. Equation of Time
You should know why you should do this 
Other than these complications, my answer is no.
OK the no.3 sounds too Einstein for me
