Title: Rolex Datejust 1603
Post by: Manburg on May 07, 2011, 10:34:09 PM
Dear all,

I would like to obtain the expert views of all the Rolex owners here on this piece. It's a 1603 Model of Datejust, circa 1968 (movement 1570). My question is, based on the photo below, is there anything wrong (mismatched or aftermarket parts, etc.) with the watch?

Thanks in advance for your opinion.

Manburg,

You may want to try posting on vrf as well.

Hobbit, you mean the Rolex Vintage Forum where one can send a scan of the dial, with all the details, e.g. the model no, case serial no, inner caseback data stamp, etc. to Tom for verification?

I'll probably do that too.

Thanks.

Yes sir, but I suggest you post it on the general forum as well so that you get better coverage.
