It's time to buy shoe...
Comfort first...
I had problem with wood heel once! Pain
So bought rubber since then
Wearing Geox to work every day now...

Any other recommendation.

I'm not a ShoeRistis, so pls allow silly questions from me.  :Praying:

Are Clarks & Dr. Marten English shoes as well? Or already become Buatan M'sia?

I particularly like Dr. Marten shoes due to its lasting rubber bottom sole. Have been wearing these 2 brands many years.

Thx,

Not really a shoe guy but years ago dr. Marten was made in the uk. Most people in the aviation industry use them as the soles are acid and alkaline resistant. I use to get them from farming supplies store in the uk. You can get them treated and they will become water resistant. This is of course before they became fashion shoes.

LOVE the penny loafers Kelvin!

I always wondered, how practical or lasting is the leather soles of these in our Msian weather?

I dont always walk indoors so with rain, dirt outside and such...is it lasting?

i've a few pairs that i've been wearing for the past 4-5 years (without the addition of a rubber sole or taps) with no issue. they are still far from the need to resole. as long as u remember to dry them, don't wear them again the next day and keep em properly polished, it shd be fine. why are u always walking in the rain anyway?

Nothin fanciful, outstanding  nor bespoke.

As I grow older, I wear less and less sneakers. So this is my casual wear sneakers alternative on my off days.

Mass produced, J&M foam soled derby.

Cool shoe, I actually wanted to get this model in the Alden boutique in SFO. How are the American made Aldens and AE compared to the European brands?

I honestly prefer the old school look of the American made shoes or maybe I have been reading too much Free & Easy.
