Amazing atmosphere...
I smell the passions.....904 steel, 1000m wr without screw in crown, read in the dark without luminous by just polishing the hour marker n hands... From Japan to Swiss to German to Italy...
U hear these throughout the night... From bunch of big 'boys' from different industries and background...

Every1 sharing, eating, laughing... That's joy...
Yeap
Happy to be one of these bunch of "Syiok sendiri" kaki s of MWF

Next gtg shall be the celebration of our 1st MWF project watch!

yeah looking forward to our watch project handover... hopefully one day we can organise a factory visit.

Woohoo, glad i managed to pop in, if only for short time. Had another do at the same time and area and was gleefully overjoyed when i noticed MWF dinner venue was just across the road. Molested some of the timepieces and rub shoulders with some ***istis ( Pam, seiko etc ). And bumped into some regulars and of course, the mods. The mods were grinning at the success of the event and rightfully so. Turnout was great tho i was told 2 ffk. Still kudos to the organizers.

Kudos to the organisers and mods...Peter, CK77, David, Chrisyen.

Highlight of the night to me was not the timepieces...but meeting someone like Tyler who has all the knowledge of many timepieces in his head...I am not worthy bro!!!

Many thanks to all the mods who arranged this wonderful event. It was amazing to meet so many nice people with amazing watches/collection and humble enough to let others admire, fondle and try their prized possessions. The event felt very fast-paced and time was too short. The last of us left about 1.30am and I personally thought time passed too quickly. If only it had started much earlier although I did lose my way and arrived about an hour late.

There were a few members I was hoping to meet and chat with but time was too short and the venue was a little tight and I didn't get to accomplish that. Thanks to Peter, Danny, Chris, Jos, Primus, Ho, David, Loo, Rusmin, Sean, Alvin and many many others who made me feel welcome and at home. It was definitely worth the trip.

Some of the pictures I managed to take with my iPhone so quality is poor.

The mains.. missed the rest because I was too distracted..

All watches on the table now. Fish market started...

And it looks like someone found a deal ??

One of the few that caught my attention...

And the front...

Another soon-to-be grail piece. The buckle...

And the dial... ohhhhhh....

Thanks

Earlier I still worry about whether we end up like pasar malam... Every1 bring their stock to sell....

It wasn't the case, every1 bring their collection to share...

Only setback is no female member turn out...
Hence no ladies watch during the gtg

Time to consider a ladies watch section to attract more female watch collectors
I believe the numbers is there and growing everyday

What a wonderful event and I learnt so much that I hardly able to digest.
Well organized, great venue, fantastic people and I wish it doesn't finish so early.
Thanks to the organizer for their hard work and to the great members of MWF, you guys are fantastic.
Btw I learnt that if the venue is more secure, I would be able to see more priced pieces so since I'm dealing with hotels, perhaps the next event, I can help to organize it in a private room with additional security.
Looking forward to the next event soon......

Looks like a good mix of people and watches in the gathering... not just for the elites and super-rich. If the common bond for the GTG is the "love and passion" for watches (which the pics seemed to indicate), I think more members (with humbler time pieces like Seiko 5s, Steinharts, etc) would show up in future events!

Well done, organisers! Look forward to attend the next GTG..
