36MP RAW files will require a mainframe computer for post processing.  ;D

Not really...that all depends still a lot on the lens used.

Then you check again next year. Prices should be similar to D700 since its direct replacement.

My friend already pre-order online.
Damn poison....
Luckily i rather spend on watches than a full frame. But is that a good or bad thing?

Me and my friend bought the D7000 together June of last year and he is already upgrading.
Damn even the most "basic" set will end up costing rm12k or so....oh well....

Maybe both good & bad.
Good, you can't have both cam. and watch hobby together - your wallet will become very light.
Bad, one may spend more on one hobby if get to choose one hobby.

Anyway, agreed with the above statement on spending on watches. I used to spend more on cameras and accessories. Now switch to watches. Is this good or bad?  ;D

I bet you'll love it.

Try couple it with the 50mm 1.4G. It should do the trick. I'll be joining Q3 of this year. For now, need to get a watch.  :D
