In my experience, buying a couple of watches have given me buyers remorse. Most of all is The PAM 00616 - which was my first and last watch from the brand. I’ve never considered Panerai despite their following, which has certainly died down over the years but the. Carbotech caught my attention because it seemed innovative and looked different compared to the other submersibles although it’s price certainly reflected that. I wore it for a short time and it has been kept boxed since as I don’t dive and was neither intrigued by the history of the watch as an army watch - despite obtaining an in house movemenT not Long ago. I don’t have a dislike for the watch but find wearing others to be more gratifying but if I could do it again ~ I certainly would have chosen a different brand like my typical AP or even the Santos XL Chrono while it was in production. Also second values for the watch are not good which was surprising given the uniqueness and manufacturing materials of the carbon weaves used. To me, Submersibles serve no particular purpose with no exceptional history of excellence that had its day in the sun when endorsed by some celebrities some time back.
Oh my second regret was a Bvulgari Octo.
